The Stock Market
When is good, is good!
When a person is unfamiliar with the stock market, they are often guided by emotions and the media. Coincidentally, that is a perilous place to be when dealing with securities. Day trading is not for the faint of heart!
Trust me, I know: I was one of them. And then, I decided not to listen to the voices of pseudo-experts on politics, economics, religion, or any other subject where a little hard work could yield dividends.
The stock market is one such place. The picture above illustrates a personal portfolio and its performance, even amid a stock market crash, as reported by the media. Go figure!
This portfolio is doing better than my book sales and even my law practice. Come to think of it, if I get better, I could see myself retiring from practicing law altogether — and that would be a good thing!
Imagine making over $200 a day without moving a finger. In fact, when was the last time you earned $200 as a writer? And if you have, how many stories have you had to publish?
I bet that many of you who read this story are not making anywhere close to $100 a day, let alone $200. That is $1,000 a week, not counting weekends. Have you heard anyone doing this? Of course not!
